Donate your old golf clubs, balls and kit

Do you have old golfing kit that you don’t use any more? If you live in the Birmingham area, you can now help encourage more people to play the game by handing it over to the Reclaim Sport project.

The BBC and partners are calling on people in Birmingham to give away their used and unwanted sports kit and equipment to help encourage physical activity in the city.

Reclaim Sport is a partnership with Birmingham City Council, Sport Birmingham, BBC WM, BBC Birmingham and BBC Get Inspired.

Throughout November 2016 teams are working together to collect used sports equipment that can be redistributed to give Birmingham kids and disadvantaged adults a chance to be more active.

There are collection points all over Birmingham where you can donate goods. Find your nearest location here

Schools in Birmingham can also join the project by helping to collect kit in donation bins. Contact if you can help.

Show us your golf kit that you are donating by taking a photo, draw a picture, video yourself.

The Reclaim Sport partners will then work with the local community to make sure the kit and equipment get to the people who really need them.

This project is part of the activity around BBC Sports Personality of the Year, which will take place at Birmingham's Genting Arena on 18 December.
